Privacy Policy

This explains what HCI LED (Husk Companies Inc., the maker of Husk Signs and HCI LED signs) collects when you use hcileds.com, the EMC Portal and the Wise app, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address and your password, which we store only in a scrambled (hashed) form we cannot read back.
  • Your signs: the signs and work orders linked to your account, their addresses, and the playlists, pictures and videos you upload or make.
  • What you send us: the name, business, email, phone and message you type in the support or quote form.
  • Security logs: the address (IP) and browser of each visit, kept to run the site and to stop abuse and bots.
  • Cookies: only the ones that keep you signed in and protect the sign-in forms. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Signing in with Google

If you choose Continue with Google, Google sends us your name and email address. We use the email address to sign you in and to confirm it is yours, and we keep only that address and the account ID Google gives us. We never see your Google password, and we read nothing else from your Google account.

How we use it

To run your signs and your account, to send you account emails (confirmation codes, password resets), to help you when you contact us, and to keep the service secure. We never sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

hcileds.com runs on our own servers. We share only what a task needs with the services that do that task:

  • Resend delivers our emails (your email address and the message).
  • Stripe handles payments in the Ad Marketplace. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
  • Mapbox, OpenStreetMap and Google show sign locations on maps and set each sign's time zone. They get the sign's address or map position, not your account.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it, and your choices

We keep your information while your account is open. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your account and what is in it, and we will do it, except anything we must keep by law or for billing.
